In his role as an investment banker, Mr.
Taylor has successfully advised Fortune 500,
publicly held, and privately held companies
in M&A and divesture activities in transactions
ranging from $5M to $150M. He has also raised
capital from venture and later stage private
equity sources for a variety of purposes,
including management buyouts. Mr. Taylor
has extensive experience in financing companies
in a wide variety of industries. As
Executive Vice President and Senior Commercial
Lender for the Bank of New England (now Bank
of America), Mr. Taylor developed specialty
financing groups in High Technology, Communications,
Healthcare, Energy, and Financial Institutions.
He also led the Leveraged Buyout and Syndication
activities at the bank, and in the course
of that responsibility, provided over $2
billion in acquisition financing for manufacturing,
technology, service, retail, and communications
companies. He was responsible for the development
of the investment banking group, BNE Associates,
and served for a number of years as the Chairman
of New England Capital Corp., the venture
capital subsidiary of the bank. In that role,
he was involved in providing equity, and
mezzanine debt, for start-up and growth stage
companies.
Mr. Taylor serves as a Director of Claremont
Flock Corporation and Paramount Insurance
